Steel Top Plate and / or Steel Bottom Plate (Joint) 2167 replaced by 2161

• Fits on 6" Steel frame pool by Asahi / Rising Sun
• Used on both the top and bottom of the pool.
• For use on pools that utilize a 5/8" Top Stabilizer Rail or 5/8" Bottom Track.
• Measures 4-1/4-4 1/2" Wide x 3 1/8"-3-1/4" Deep x 5/8" Tall.
• NOTE: Newer Asahi pools (2010 & newer) use resin joints.
• This steel joint is interchangeable with resin joint (part #2168 instead of the upper joint of the pool or part #2268 for the lower joint) if you wish.
• Resin joints have an advantage because they are corrosion resistant.
• Steel joints have an advantage because they can bend without cracking.

UPDATE 2018 - the factory has discontinued the old part 2167, but has made a replacement in steel.

If you order this part, you will be sent part 2161 (3-1/4" Deep x 4-1/4" Wide and 5/8" Tall)

Which is designed to replace the 2167 (3-1/8" Deep x 4-1/2" Wide x 5/8" Tall, and will work the same.
