Cellulose

Zeofiber and Fiberclear are plant cellulose based filter media. Cellulose can be used as a lung friendly, DE Diatomaceous Earth substitute.

Cellulose can also be used as a filter aid in sand and cartridge filters. Cellulose will clarify water and remove excess metals like iron or copper.
