The Winter Cover Step Flap (Patent Pending) has been specially designed to cover walk-in steps on
Radiant Pools. This new winter cover attachment locks into a Radiant winter cover utilizing an
engineered bead receiver that is part of the step flap. The step flap can be used on winter covers
for both 2”and 4” coping as well as new Universal coping (Patent Pending) on the Metric Rectangle.

Installation:
Install Metric winter cover by inserting the bead into the receiver track of the Radiant Metric coping.
Position the step flap so that the edge of the black bead receiver is at the point where the step meets the wall
panel. Using your fingers, open the groove of the bead receiver and slide the opening over the bead of the winter
cover until you’ve reached the opposite side of the step. Make sure that the flap material is equal on both sides of
the stairs.
Single channel water bags (not included) must be used to secure the step flap. Three (3) water bags will be
needed. Loops have been sewn around the perimeter of the cover to keep water bags in place. Follow water bag
manufacturer instructions for filling and other information.
